Ohana learnt not to rely on people from her mother, who never came when Ohana needed her the most.
She gets moved to another position as a waitress.
And Ohana’s first job is to clean an author’s room without the help of Nako.
However, it looks like Ohana is in trouble again- the author had requested that the room would only be cleaned with his supervision, but Nako never told her that. Ohana takes the blame and is asked to move on to another job.
She learns that the word ‘Die’ (Minko’s phrase) is very powerful, as Ohana and the cook almost crashed while in the van. Her ability to rely on only herself is questioned.
Ohana recalls that after her mother had let her down, she made dinner with ingredients that her mother hated- broccoli.
As a result, she asks Minko and Nako what food they hate so she can feel better after getting some sort of revenge.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Ohana finds the manuscripts she threw away earlier, but the author approaches her…
