Madoka arrives on time; however, she wants to make a contract with Kyuubey.
Madoka has really thought through her wish- ‘to erase every witch before they are born. Every witch from every world, from the past and the future. With my own hands.’
It looks like Madoka has already talked about her wish with Mami and Kyoko in the past.
In the second episode, you may recall Madoka sketching what her outfit would look like. Mami hands her the notepad back.
Her transformation scene is gorgeous.
She shoots her arrows to around the world, to erase the witches before they are born; becoming hope itself.
The Walpurgis is also destroyed in the process.
Madoka’s Soul Gem is the size of a meteor. The despair covers up the world and Homura cries in sadness.
Madoka becomes a Goddess and shoots at the despair, which forces her to become omnipresent.
She gives Homura her ribbons so that she doesn’t forget about Madoka. They become separated.
Sayaka is able to watch Kyosuke’s violin performance one last time.
We’re brought back to the fight scene against Sayaka (Witch ver.) and Kyoko confesses that they were finally friends.
The new system is in place- Puella Magi disappear after their Soul Gems run out, unlike before when they turn into Witches.
It looks like the only people that can remember Madoka is Tatsuya and Homura.
It’s sad that her mother can’t remember her. I remember the first episode when Madoka’s mother helps her decide which colour ribbons to wear- that seems like such a long time ago.
Don’t forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember her, you are not alone.
