In & Around Austria Photo Dump -Part 1-

Stanstead Express

Took the Stansted Express (from London Liverpool Street Station) to Stanstead Airport.

Sky

Sat near the wing during the flight- couldn’t take photos without it being in the shot.

Cafe

Loads of cafés.

Tram

The main form of transport in Austria is tram.

Electronica Center

The building is the Ars Electronica Center in Linz- and the bridge crosses the River Danube; the longest river in Europe.

View

Flowers

Went to Pöstlingberg (still in Linz).

Train

Took the train to Vienna. The trainline was new and the tickets were on offer.

Restaurant

Lovely Italian restaurant (Vapiano)- think they branches in the UK too. Their main selling point is that that cook the food in front of you.

Underground

The old carriages of the underground in Vienna requires you to manually open the doors. It’s a bit of a pull.

City Hall

Interior of Vienna City Hall.

Hello Kitty

Saw quite a few branches of Swarovski.

Ferris Wheel

Went to an amusement park- I only went on the water ride; the other rides seemed a bit too extreme…

Imperial Palace

Imperial Gardens

Greenhouse

Went around the Imperial Palace by a mini-bus/train, saw loads of lovely flowers and landscapes.

It’s King Julien XIII! ‘I like to move it move it, I like to move it move it’…

The zoo was close to the Imperial Palace- it was quite hot so the animals were inactive. There was a cat instead of an elephant in the large room. Don’t know how it got in there;;

Will be uploading Part 2 and a special food photo dump in a bit~
