Sekai Project at AOD 2016

Sekai Project announced a series of titles during their panel at Animation on Display, starting with Winged Cloud’s (Sakura series) Sakura Dungeon.

Sakura Dungeon features a new ‘capture’ mechanic which allows the user to capture monster girls and add them to the party. As well as dungeon exploring, the game is also filled with dialogue and artwork.

Another title announced is the romantic visual novel, Hoshizora no Memoria -Wish Upon a Shooting Star- by Favorite. After their mother passes away, Kogasaka You and Chinami move to live with their aunt back in Hibarigasaki where they once lived. Before he moved to the city, You made friends with a girl on an observatory lookout where he spent his time every day. The girl made him promise that they would get married once You returned to Hibarigasaki after finding out that he would be moving.

After returning, he joins the astronomy club at school, starts working at the local cafe and finds that the lookout has been fenced-off. There he discovers a scythe-wielding girl named Mare who looks strangely like his childhood friend. Who is she really and will You find the girl he made the promise with?

Last is KARAKARA by calme, a group of industry veterans including Kio Nachi (scenario writer for Yumiko from Grisaia, and AOKANA: Four Rhythm Across the Blue) and p19. The ‘Age of Dusk’ is a period where the human race is dwindling and hybrid species known as the ‘Others’ are thriving. KARAKARA tells the story of the everyday life inside a small diner run by two people in the barren lands. A crowdfunding campaign for KARAKARA is available on Indiegogo. The expected release date for KARAKARA is 27th June 2016 for Steam and Denpasoft.
